This document contains the details of the conditions for the use of the Takeaway.com websites, applications and services. Takeaway.com/pt is a trademark of Takeaway.com European Operations B.V. Takeaway.com, acting on its behalf and on behalf of any legal person or person directly or indirectly controlled, is controlled by joint control of Takeaway.com Group B.V. ("Takeaway.com"). Processing of personal data

The customers ‘personal data is only used as explained in the terms and conditions. Takeaway.com does not sell, give or publish customers’ data to outsiders for commercial purposes. We only disclose your address to the restaurant from which you placed the order, to make your delivery possible. Exceptions to what are mentioned above are the requests from a government agency, for example, as part of a police investigation.

Relationships with the restaurants listed on the site

When ordering from Takeaway.com we forward your order at the restaurant chosen. If for some reason the delivery is not possible, we will contact you as soon as possible. Takeaway.com plays a role of intermediary in this process. Actual conditions of delivery are variable and depend on the restaurant you selected. Responsibility for Takeaway.com is limited to sending the order to the chosen restaurant.

Online Payments

Online payments made directly to the website are transferred to the applicable restaurant by Takeaway.com. A payment can only be refunded if a restaurant has not (fully) delivered what was promised.

In the event that such a conflict should arise concerning online payments you can make a complaint with Takeaway.com. You can submit your complaint to pt@takeaway.com

Complaint Handling

Takeaway.com is not responsible for the service (s) delivered by the restaurant listed on our website. It is best to handle any problems directly through the restaurant. However, you can submit your complaint via email at the following address – pt@takeaway.com. Each complaint will be processed as quickly as possible by a member of our team.

Newsletter and Spam

Once an order is places, you can tick the check box if you wish to receive our newsletter. If this box is checked you will receive our electronic newsletter until you wish to unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe in the profile tab of our website. You will not be included in the newsletter if the box is unchecked. The only email you will receive is a confirmation of order from Takeaway.com. Takeaway.com does not send “spam” (unwanted email)

The information you provide when ordering is preserved in a series of served protected by encryption to 128 bits and a firewall.


Takeaway.com uses the technique called “Cookies” to increase user comfort. The cookie that uses Takeaway.com is a number that allows us to help you faster the next time you order. For instance, your postcode will be filled in automatically; you can also keep your personal information. Cookies are used to store the products to your shopping cart, which is a requirement to operate the website. By using cookies no personal data is transmitted via the internet. It is just a number.


Despite the efforts of Takeaway.com of completing daily updates of our price lists displayed, it is possible due to external reasons that some prices may not be corrected. Neither the restaurant nor Takeaway.com where the order is placed from can be held liable to pay any difference in price. If you see pricing errors please notify pt@takeaway.com as soon as possible and we will make arrangements to change the listing as soon as possible.

Takeaway.com is a protected trademark. You may not use, copy, adapt, translate and / or distribute Takeaway.com without prior permission. If you are interested in the possibility of using the site Takeaway.com (or part of the site) regardless of your goal please contact pt@takeaway.com.
