How You Can Use Your Restaurant Portal

By now, you will have heard the term “Restaurant Portal” quite a few times in our communications, but how can you use it for your restaurant?

Your Restaurant Portal is a central hub for controlling and changing things for your restaurant on the Takeaway.com platform.

It’s important to get familiar with your Restaurant Portal, but where do you start? We’ve highlighted the most important sections below.

Dashboard
The dashboard provides an overview of your Restaurant Portal. You can navigate to all the features through here.

Account
Access your account by clicking on your restaurant logo at the top of the portal. Here is where you will find your account details, update essential business information and adjust your opening hours.

Live Orders
Not using T-Connect or a T-Connect terminal? Live Order is where you can receive orders, update delivery and pick-up times and temporarily open and close your restaurant.

Reporting
The reporting tool allows you to download invoices, see online payments and view pending charges. Additonally, you can view and download invoices for tips.

Your Menu
View your entire menu and mark dishes as ‘sold-out’ in this section.

Verify allergens
By law, restaurants must make their menu allergen information accessible to customers. Doing so helps you to comply with the law and promote transparency and a better and safe experience for your customers.

Allergens can cause serious health issues to your customers, so we strongly recommend that you carefully identify any allergens that are present in your dishes to provide complete and related information to customers.

You can validate your menu allergen information under the ‘Menu’ section in your Restaurant Portal.

Learn more about allergens here.

Marketing
Marketing offers tools to help your business grow, including TopRank and the StampCard programme. You can also add discounts to your menu here.

News
Your inbox is where you can read the latest news and updates from Takeaway.com.
