Reviews are often the best way a restaurant can stay informed about how their customers view them, but they are much more than a simple score out of five stars.
Not only do they have the power to influence coustomer decisions, they can also strengthen a restaurant’s credibility. They are a powerful tool that can be used to gain the trust of customers, that’s why we send your customers an email after every order to encourage them to leave a review.
How do reviews work at Takeaway.com?
There are quite a few important aspects to remember when it comes to reviews. Here are a few:
- The average review score is displayed for each restaurant in the restaurant overview
- If a restaurant is new, reviews will be visible after having received 3 reviews
- Quality and delivery are not weighed equally. Quality accounts for two thirds, and Delivery for one third
How do I check reviews?
You can check reviews by clicking on ‘New Ratings’ in the dashboard of your Restaurant Portal. This is also where you can see your overall score that is shown on the platform and comments that have been added by customers.
How do I report an inappropriate or inaccurate review?
Our team keeps a close eye on all reviews to prevent inappropriate remarks or language. If you feel a review is inappropriate, click on ‘Report’ and our team will check it as soon as possible.
